Päronsmulpaj

14 oktober är dag 14 på Dessert Month och Vegetarian Month. 14 oktober är Dessert Day! Ursprunget är okänt, men när jag googlade såg jag att temadagen fanns i alla fall 2006. Men exakt vad är dessert? Cambridge Dictionary säger: "sweet food eaten at the end of a meal".

"1: a usually sweet course or dish (as of pastry or ice cream) usually served at the end of a meal
2 British : a fresh fruit served after a sweet course"

Liknande säger Collins Dictionary:
"Dessert is something sweet, such as fruit or a pudding, that you eat at the end of a meal. [...]

Britannica säger:

In Spain, Portugal, and Latin American countries, desserts of flan (a baked caramel custard) are ubiquitous. Other rich sweets based on eggs, milk, and fruits also are preferred. Wikipedia säger:
"The term dessert can apply to many sweets, such as biscuits, cakes, cookies, custards, gelatins, ice creams, pastries, pies, puddings, macaroons, sweet soups, tarts, and fruit salad (fruit is commonly found in dessert courses because of its naturally occurring sweetness)."

Och det är starten på Baking Week! I år är Baking Week 14-20 oktober. Awareness Days skriver:

Päronsmulpaj är dagens recept! 🍐 Jag utgick från Äppelsmulpaj

 * Havresmuldegen passar även till en 27 cm i dm pajform.

Päronsmulpaj

Mängd: 1 st 24 cm i dm pajform *

Ingredienser:
2 msk citronsaft 
8 dl vatten 
3 päron (~ 650 g) 

Havresmuldeg: 
1/2 tsk malen kanel
4 msk ICA Sötströ 
3 msk riven kokos
4 dl glutenfritt havremjöl 
85 g rumsvarmt Naturli' Ekologisk Vegan Block 

Ingredienser: 
Blanda citronsaft och vatten i en skål. Skölj päron. Skär bort toppen och botten. Kärna ur. Grovhacka. Häll i skålen. Häll ut vätskan. Sätt ugnen på 175 grader. Fördela päron i en pajform. Blanda kanel, sötströ, kokos och havremjöl i en skål. Smula ner smör. Knåda till en smuldeg. Smula över. Grädda mitt i ugnen i 30-31 minuter. Servera varmt. 

Förvaring: Förvara i kyl.
