23 juli Ă€r Egyptens nationaldag! đŸ‡Ș🇬 Dagens recept Ă€r Salata Baladi. Salata betyder sallad och Baladi betyder “local/of the country” (Nomad Paradise).

"While variations of this salad can differ depending on region and preference, salata baladi always contains diced or chopped tomatoes, cucumber, and onions. It is tossed in a dressing of white vinegar and oil, with various herbs and seasonings, such as parsley. [...] Again, while it may not be seen as traditional, some versions of this salad use onion slices rather than diced onion. [...] Our recipe uses a dressing of white vinegar, lemon juice, and olive oil. Regional variations can see this salad made with one, some, or all of these ingredients, depending on preference. [...] Sumac, mint, and garlic are some additional ingredients found in variations of this salad. Again, as mentioned above, this may not be seen as authentic salata baladi."

Nomad Paradise tar 2 smĂ„ gurkor/1 stor gurka, 2-3 stora tomater, 1/2 medium rödlök, 1 msk citronsaft, 1 msk "white vinegar", 1 msk olivolja, 1 msk fĂ€rsk persilja, finhackad, 1 msk fĂ€rsk koriander, finhackad, 1/2 tsk jodfritt salt/grovt havssalt och 1/2 tsk nymalen svartpeppar.

Gurka, tomat och rödlök grovhackas. HĂ€lls i en skĂ„l. Persilja och koriander tillsĂ€tts. Citronsaft, vinĂ€ger, olivolja, salt och svartpeppar blandas i en skĂ„l. Dressing blandas i. 


Chez Nermine anvĂ€nder 500 g körsbĂ€rstomater, i fjĂ€rdedelar eller hĂ€lften, 4-5 persiska gurkor, "seeded" och tĂ€rnad, 1 rödlök, finhackad, 4 msk olivolja, 1 msk Ă€ttika, 1 msk limesaft, 1 msk vatten (valfritt), 1 liten rödlök, tĂ€rnad, 1 tsk torkad mynta, 2 msk fĂ€rsk bladpersilja, grovhackad, salt och peppar. 

Tomat, gurka och rödlök blandas i en skĂ„l. Olivolja, Ă€ttika, limesaft, vatten, mynta, bladpersilja, salt och peppar blandas i en burk. Skakas vĂ€l. Rödlök tillsĂ€tts. Skakas. Dressing blandas i precis innan servering sĂ„ grönsaker "won’t wilt".

Gurka, tomat och persilja blandas i en skÄl. Resterande ingredienser blandas i. Serveras direkt.

Salata Baladi 

MÀngd: 1 st 100 cl skÄl, ca 860 g

Ingredienser:
1 liten rödlök 
2 smĂ„ gurkor (~ 350 g) 
4 stora fasta tomater (~ 450 g) 
5 g fĂ€rsk persilja (3 msk efterĂ„t) 
1 msk citronsaft
1 msk Ă€ttika 
25 g olivolja 
1/2 tsk salt 
1 krm malen svartpeppar 

Ingredienser:
Skala och finhacka rödlök. Skölj och tÀrna gurka i 1/2-1 cm bitar. Skölj och tÀrna tomat i 1/2-1 cm bitar. Skölj och finhacka persilja. HÀll allt i en skÄl. Blanda citronsaft, Àttika, olivolja, salt och svartpeppar i en skÄl. Blanda i dressingen. Servera rumstempererat.

Förvaring: Förvara i kyl.
